Ski and Snowboard Lessons

Group Lessons
It's never too late to go back to school! Group lessons for all ability levels are held at 10 AM and 1:30 PM every day. Group lessons last 90 minutes and may be purchased at the Ski and Snowboard School Desk. Group Lesson $38.



Private Lessons
When you are interested in working individually with one of our ski or snowboard instructors, a private lesson is the answer. Private lessons are offered at 9:00 am, noon, and 3:00 pm, and may be reserved by calling 413-738-5500 ext. 802 or stopping by the Snowsports School Desk. Reservations are required for private lessons.

Burton Learn to Ride
During the summer of 2006 Jiminy was chosen by Burton to become a Learn to Ride center because of the teaching methods already in place at the Resort.



The SKIwee and Explorers program is for kids 4 to 12 years old.

Adaptive Ski Lessons
Jiminy Peak's Adaptive Program provides ski and snowboard lessons to students of all ages with physical, cognitive or developmental disabilities.

STRIDE Adaptive Sports has teamed up with Jiminy Peak's Snowsports School to provide our guests with adaptive instructors who are PSIA trained and certified in adaptive coaching. Instructors will assess, equip and teach individuals with special needs in private lesson format to meet their specific needs, abilities and learning styles. We welcome individuals of all abilities.

Lesson categories include: Vision and/or hearing impairments, all types of developmental or cognitive disabilities, physical disabilities, and wheelchair users who will sit-down to ski or snowboard.

Adaptive Lesson Package costs just $50, and includes:

• Half day private instruction 
• Adaptive and standard rental ski/snowboard equipment
• Lift ticket
• a Shadow ticket is available for $30 for family member who would like to learn how to effectively accompany the special skier/rider
